Welcome to Hertfordshire Councillors
Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for delivering a range of services to the people who live, work and travel in the county. Services including schools, libraries, support for the elderly and vulnerable, fire and rescue services and the roads and pavements are all provided by the County Council.
There are seventy-seven County Councillors, who are elected every four years. It is their job to represent the interests of local residents, and make decisions about County Council services.
